Hydraulic decoilers
The first machine in the line. It holds the coil by the eye, pays strip off under back-tension, and takes the next coil without drama.
Hydraulic expansion
Grip the eye, not the wrap
The mandrel expands hydraulically inside the coil eye, so the coil is held from the inside and the strip is never marked by external clamping. Loading is quick: set the coil, expand, run.
- Hydraulic expansion — mandrel grips the coil eye under hydraulic pressure.
- Single / double cone — choose the support your coil eye and weight need.
- Heavy duty structure — fabricated frame built to carry the coil, not just hold it.
- Easy coil loading — with a coil car the coil is set on the mandrel without an overhead crane.

Where it fits
Head of the line
A decoiler works as part of a line, and we build the rest of it in the same workshop: hydraulic recoiler, pinch roll and feeder, slitter head, scrap winder, tension stand, separator and control panel. That means one supplier for the line, one place for spares.
Study it in 3D before you buy: every unit is modelled and downloadable as a .glb file.
Also used for
- Cut to length lines — see CTL lines
- Re-coiling and slitting of bought-out coils
- Retrofitting an existing line with a new decoiler
Questions
Decoiler, answered
What coil weight can the decoiler take?
Our reference decoilers handle coils up to 10 Ton with a 508 mm eye and up to 1500 mm outer diameter. Heavier or larger coils are quoted as per your requirement.
Single cone or double cone — which do I need?
It depends on the coil eye, coil weight and how the coil sits on the mandrel. Single cone suits lighter coils and faster loading; double cone supports heavier coils on both sides. Tell us the coil and we recommend one.
Can the decoiler run without a coil car?
It can be loaded by crane, but a coil car makes loading safer and faster — the coil is set on the saddle and traversed onto the mandrel. We build both.
Do you repair or recondition existing decoilers?
Yes — hydraulic repair, machine installation, crane repair and general maintenance work are all part of our service scope, for our machines and for others.
How is it priced?
Price is offered according to the thickness range and specification — coil size drives the structure and the hydraulics. See what drives the cost.
