Cut to length (CTL) lines
Coil in, flat cut sheets out. Length is set on the HMI, the shear cuts on the servo feed, and the stacked sheets come off ready to pack.
Cut to length
Built around the sheet you sell
Cut to length lines take a coil and deliver flat, cut sheets — length after length, automatically. We build them in automatic and semi automatic versions, so a small unit can start semi automatic and a high volume line can run unattended cutting cycles.
- Automatic & semi automatic — start at the level your production needs.
- Servo length control — each cut is measured by the servo feed, not by eye.
- High speed & accuracy — a matched shear and feed keep the cut length repeatable.
- Pneumatic sheet stacking — sheets are stacked as they are cut, so nothing is handled twice.
- User friendly operation — length and quantity are set on the panel by the operator.

The sequence
What runs where
A CTL line follows the strip from coil to stacked sheet: decoiling, levelling, servo feeding, shearing and stacking. The decoiler, control panel and hydraulics come from the same workshop as our slitting lines, so spares and service stay in one place.
To quote you, we need
- Coil width, thickness range and coil weight
- Sheet lengths you cut and the tolerance you sell to
- Sheets per shift or cuts per minute you need
- Material mix — MS, CR, HR, GI, PPGL or SS
- Available power supply and line length at your plant
Questions
Cut to length, answered
What is the difference between a CTL line and a slitting line?
A slitting line cuts a wide coil into narrow strips and rewinds them. A cut to length line keeps the coil width and cuts flat sheets to a set length instead. Many service centres run both.
What sheet lengths can a cut to length line produce?
Sheet length is set on the servo control to suit your product — the line is built around the range you sell. Tell us the shortest and longest sheet you need and the tolerance, and the line is configured for it.
Which materials can be cut to length?
MS, CR, HR, GI, PPGL and SS coils. The feed, leveller and shear are set up for the material mix and thickness range you run.
Do you also build the decoiler and hydraulics?
Yes. We manufacture hydraulic decoilers, recoilers, pinch roll units, slitter heads, scrap winders and control panels in our own workshop at Taloja MIDC, Navi Mumbai.
How is a CTL line priced?
Price is offered according to the thickness range and specification. Width, thickness, coil weight, speed, automation level and controls are what move the number — see what drives the cost.
Can the line be installed and commissioned at our plant?
Yes — installation, commissioning and technical support are part of what we do, along with hydraulic repair and maintenance work. Machines are packed for safe transport with worldwide delivery arranged as required.
